BRINGING YOU A PIECE OF ETHIOPIA TO THE HEART OF VIRGINIA!  WITH ALL THE MUSIC BEING PLAYED, THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE EVENT, THE CAMP AMBIANCE WILL BE TRANSFORMED TO TAKE US ALL BACK TO ETHIOPIA.

Here you will find a summary of our preliminary Camp program for 2017 . Please note that this is the preliminary program summary and may be updated from time to time before it is finalized.

  • Celebrating Ethiopia-American Role Models – as we mark our 5th year of camp, we are celebrating successful Ethiopian-Americans. You will find Ethiopian-Americans featured throughout our program and we are also putting the spotlight on two Ethiopian-American role models.

  • Growing Up In America, a panel discussion: Hear it directly from teens and young adult, exploring the challenges and the opportunities of growing up in America
  • Family Travel to Ethiopia, An interactive panel discussion with parents who have traveled to Ethiopia as a family.

  • Intensive Dance Workshop
  • Ethiopian Traditional Cooking – Breakfast Ethiopian Style
